Tour to Krakow - the city of kings
Krakow is a fascinating ancient city that can be compared to phoenix. It survived times of glory and turmoil. Having been the 1st capital of Poland, it was later partitioned and ruled by Austria, Russia and Prussia. This royal city withstood atrocities of WWII, including segregation, extermination of Jews and dreadful repressions.
Despite oppression, the city preserved its identity and rich cultural heritage. When you walk in the medieval streets of the old city leading you to the the main square while sumptuous carriages pass you by, hear the trumpet anthem that comes from the tower of St. Mary’s church, you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a flourishing city filled with peace, harmony and a unique blend of past and present.
